We believe in minimal data collection. We only collect the minimal personal data required to provide and manage access to your software licenses:

• Account & Authentication Information: When you sign in to AskAvatar using Google Sign-In, we receive your basic profile information (specifically your email address, display name, and unique user identifier). We do not collect or request your Google passwords or any other private Google account content.
• Purchase & Licensing Records: When you buy a software license, we record your customer ID, purchased product tier (e.g., AskAvatar Standard or AskAvatar Adult), and transaction timestamp to grant you permanent download access.
• Support Inquiries: Any information you voluntarily provide when contacting us via our support form or email (e.g., your email address and message contents).
• Local Device Storage: We use local storage in your browser solely to maintain your authentication state and remember non-critical user preferences (such as your 18+ age verification confirmation for AskAvatar Adult).

3. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used strictly to:

• Authenticate your identity and manage your AskAvatar account.
• Validate license ownership and generate secure download links for the AskAvatar software installer and updates.
• Respond to your technical support questions or customer service inquiries.
• Prevent fraudulent access and protect the security of our services.

4. Google API Services User Data Policy Compliance

AskAvatar's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically:

• We only request access to basic Google OAuth scopes (email, profile, openid) strictly necessary for user login and account verification.
• We do not sell, rent, or lease your Google user data to data brokers or third parties.
• We do not use or transfer Google user data for serving personalized, retargeted, or interest-based advertising.
• We do not use Google user data to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

5. Payment Processing (Stripe)

All financial transactions are conducted directly through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. AskAvatar does not collect, receive, or store credit card numbers, banking details, or billing card credentials. Stripe processes your payments according to its own privacy policy and strict PCI-DSS security standards (stripe.com/privacy).

6. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third-party advertisers. We share information only with trusted cloud infrastructure providers required to operate AskAvatar:

• Google Firebase / Google Cloud: Hosts our secure authentication, encrypted Firestore database, cloud storage, and website hosting.
• Stripe: Secure checkout and payment processing.

7. Data Retention & Deletion Rights

We retain your account and purchase record for as long as your account remains active to provide continuous access to your software license and installer downloads.

Account & Data Deletion: You have the right to request deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time. To request deletion, simply email us from your registered account address at AskAvatarSupport@gmail.com with the subject "Account and Data Deletion Request" or reach out via our website Contact Support page. Upon receipt, your personal account details and stored authentication records will be permanently removed from our databases within 30 days.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard administrative and technical safeguards (including TLS/HTTPS encryption in transit, Firebase encrypted data stores, and authenticated access rules) to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
